it would be great if you could add a stop button to skyfire
I mean stop loading a page... it will solve the megavideo popup problem

In N82 default browser you can load megavideo clips and
when you hit the red arrow play button you can hit right softkey to stop loading popup
play button turns to green and... nothing cause you need the newest flash player

If skyfire gets a stop button or opens popups in a new window then you can watch megavideo

OmahaDave, Gryffyn, Robert Oberhofer... that would be so great...

I have to agree a Stop Button would be a good addition.

The stop button feature has been requested many times before. I'm sure that they (the skyfire staff) know that it is wanted, and that it is on the list of features to look into.
(why does everyone always forget about me)

I say "Stop" button is absoltly "Must be" thing in skyfire. with it meny problems will pass a way.

Hey Jason!! We haven't forgotten about you, hon ;-)
Gryffyn
Didn't you used to have a flashier profile picture? Maybe that's it. You're all incognito and stuff now. Or maybe you haven't pissed anyone off recently. People remember that.

Anyway.. what Jason said. smile.gif

And HELLOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!

Rather than making a new thread, I'll rehash. I would love this feature as well smile.gif

I'm a new user with a touch pro 2. A stop button would be really useful.
Catman51
Add me to the list that thinks this is a great idea.

Ditto that. I have the HTC Fuze (Touch Pro) and tend to use my fingers a lot instead of the stylus. I end up with errant (inadvertent) clicks on hyperlinks...especially when I'm really trying to zoom in (double-tap). Please, please, PLEASE put in STOP button!

BTW - loving v1.5 so far. The UI is much cleaner and easier to use. Still missing a stop button though. sad.gif

I second that. Who's ever heard of a web browser without a stop button?

swiggy
a stop button would be a good thing to have. Re the megavideo pop ups,if you double tap the red arrow and keep it held down on the second tap until it seems to blink ,then release,it should turn green and away you go,no pop up! Works for me anyway.

I would like to add my name to the list of people requesting a STOP button on the browser.

I Had a windows mobile touch screen device for 4.5 years. I loaded skyfire on it and there WAS a stop button aNd an easy forward option. WHy is it not here yet??? getting impatiant... Are you guys even rEaDing Any of this??? We would like a simple stop button because the surfing experience is going downhill FAST as every think is a pop up.
PLEASE pay attention and get it done PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE.. I dont even want to use my smart phone...ready to throw it out a window as annoying as it is to try to do anything without reasonable simple stop pop up functionality.
THANK YOU PLEASE!

I like MOVIE2K.com they have all the latest film and cinema releases.
And the play quite well in Skyfire. Admittedly on some pages the pop-up advertising is a pain in the butt.
