Full Version: Resolved: Hulu videos not viewable
Skyfire Forums > General > Installing & Reinstalling

I will copy this post from another thread. I have yet to see a response from anyone associated from Skyfire. I thought I would create a new topic that is related to the issues I am seeing right now.

I was able to view hulu probably twice with version 1.0. Now I cannot. I am getting a USA Proxy 10.100.x.x, but I am getting an internet connection error from hulu.

Here is the copied post from another thread.

I am gettin IP Address 10.100.120.2xx, but I get the dreaded "check internet connection" from hulu.com. Stream works on my desktop, just not my mobile phone running Windows 6.1

Here are the details:
Skyfire 1.0.0.11783
10.100.120.2xx (i am in the US)
Windows Mobile 6.1
Samsung Omnia i910
Verizon Wireless nor Wi-Fi work (both crap out)

I have reinstalled several times. I have deleted prefs. Nothing is working.

I would like to add that youtube works fine, and other video works on my phone. It seems that your proxies are being blocked by a provider possibly, or your prefs file isn't working as it should. Please give us an update as it appears I am not the only user having these issues. I will help with any info you need, but you have to let us know you are aware of the problem. Thanks.

Skyfire does not seem to be working to play Hulu.com videos for anyone at this time. Deleting prefs or reinstalling is almost certainly not going to help. The team is working on a fix.

Thank you, very much. I will chill. I hope you figure it out. Soon smile.gif...

two things I see might have happened.

1) your servers are completely overloaded, and the bandwidth is gone.

2) the companies have decided to change a little sumthin', sumthin', and we are about to have to pay for streaming from hulu.com and such.

I guess it was fine in beta to see what the user base was going to be, but when an official release hits. BOOM! gotcha.

Viewing Hulu videos should now work. Please post here if they doesn't work for you. Thanks for your patience.

#2 bad.

Yes, it was working last night. I haven't tried today. Let's hope #1.

The problem was actually "none of the above". :-)
