There are a number of RSS feed formats. Skyfire may just not recognize the format they're using. The RSS feed for PocketPCFreeware.com is what you linked:
http://www.pocketpcfreeware.com/en/index.php?rss=1Looks like it's a valid RSS 2.0 feed, but W3 has some recommendations for making it more compatible. Maybe the Skyfire guys can use this to compensate for a slightly improper RSS feed. Notes here:
http://validator.w3.org/feed/check.cgi?url...x.php%3Frss%3D1Similarly, feedburner link comes up with some warnings in the W3 validator:
http://validator.w3.org/feed/check.cgi?url...ocketPCfreewareI don't know if these warnings are contributing to Skyfire not detecting the feed properly or not. I don't know.
You might also make sure when you paste the URL that there's no spaces on the beginning or end of the URL. I'd assume Skyfire trims the URL, but if it doesn't, that may cause issues.
Getting Skyfire added to the RSS list in Feedburner would be kind of cool. Getting it added to other people's RSS feeds would require them to add the graphic and link individually. Since there's no web management for Skyfire's bookmarks, RSS feeds or anything like that, having a link to "Add to Skyfire" wouldn't do much right now. Typically you'd click one of those links, it'd take you to Yahoo, Google, etc.. you'd log in if necessary, and then it'd complete the add. Skyfire doesn't have a web interface to do this with yet.
If nothing else comes from this message thread, I think the Skyfire devs should at least take a look at the Feedburner feed since they should be proper, valid, etc.. and TONS of people use Feedburner to syndicate their content.. so Skyfire should make sure it's RSS feature works with Feedburner.
