The current symbian installer package includes the pips library...what's the problem?

Man when u trying to install skyfire in a stagw the installer need to setup the pips but its say update errore

You are probably encountering the issue where the PIPS version on the phone is more recent than the one included in the installer and they are conflicting.

There was an older installer which someone had stripped the PIPS library out of floating around, but I believe it was for v0.6 not .85, I don't believe ive seen a PIPS-free .85. Skyfire is working on a cleaner symbian installer which should resolve this issue so you may just need to/want to wait for that, there's no ETA for it though.

The next release of Skyfire for Symbian should eliminate this problem.
