Videos on XVideos.com had been working well until the last few weeks. Recently they never start to play, they just get stuck displayiing 1% where the play button was.

The ops team rolled out a server-side fix that addressed problems with a number of video sites. Are you still seeing a problem with XVideos.com?

Hi Dave, yes unfortunately the problem still occurs. It is one which has only developed in the last couple of months but the recent fix has not affected it.

These two sites look like they are using the same video player.

When was the last time they worked properly?

Does it look like the site operators might have changed something about their video player at that time? Does the video player work the same now as it did before (on the desktop)?

No visible differences and they work the same on a PC.

It's very strange.

Actually, what a lot of sites do is pop up the content you want to see, leaving the ad in the original window. Is that the case here?

when the play button pressed it then open a pop new window creatives.livejasmin.com. Previously we push the back button and it return to the original video site ready again to play by pressing the arrow play button and the video plays. But now everytime return to the video site, press the arrow button, it again open the pop-up instead of playing. So in another word, the play button is link-sticked to the pop window now.
If it just possible to remove or permanently block away this pop-up link.

yeah it happen same thing as last time. That pop-up xvideoslive.com/landing/free-live-sex/live-webcam-sexhtml still come up in new windows thus blocking the video window. When the back button pressed it return to the previous but then again after press the play button it redirect again to that pop windows. So the video wont be able to play because it was hidden.

If Skyfire was able to add tabs for browsing, this would not be a problem at all!!!!
Just a thought...

Also, sometimes you can zoom in on the lower left area of the video and hit the small play button and this seems to trick the player into not redirecting the browser.

Tabbed browsing is very likely to be in future versions. It is included in Skyfire 2.0.
